St. Claude has many things to attract and service tourists. There are many attractions (see below) and the village offers two restaurants, two gas stations, two garages, two grocery stores, a bank, a hardware store and two ATMs.

Tourism & Recreation - Permanent Attractions/ Tourisme & Loisirs – Attraits Permanents
The Saint-Claude Roman Catholic Church - Built in the mid 60’s, it was designed by renowned architect Étienne Gaboury who also designed the Saint-Boniface Cathedral and the Esplanade Riel. It is the first church in Canada to be designed following the principles of Vatican II. With its long narrow stained glass windows, the interior is as unconventional in concept as is its unusual exterior and it is surrounded by beautiful gardens. The Church celebrated its 50thanniversary in 2016.

Elle est la première église au Canada à adopter les principes du Vatican II. Avec ses vitraux longs et étroits, l’intérieur est aussi remarquable en concept que son extérieur frappant. Cette Église célébrera son 50e anniversaire en 2016.
North America’s Largest Smoking Pipe was constructed in commemoration of early settlers who came from Saint-Claude in the Jura region of France, where the main industry was the manufacture of smoking pipes. This smoking pipe is 6 metres long and 1.5 metres high, and weighs 195 kilos.
La plus grande pipe fumante de l’Amérique du nord Fut construite pour commémorer les premiers pionniers qui arrivèrent de Saint-Claude, du Jura, France, où la plus grande industrie était la fabrication de pipes. Cette pipe fumante est long de 6 mètres, haut de 1,5 mètres et pèse 195 kilos.
Manitoba Dairy Museum Complex features local and provincial dairying from early practices to modern processing. The Museum grounds include agricultural exhibits showing the growth of this industry, as well as the Saint-Claude Museum with its 2,000 bilingually catalogued artifacts that tell the story of Saint-Claude at the turn of the century and the Bell School Museum which depicts a typical county school from the pioneer days. Also featured is a Chapel containing religious artifacts from Saint-Claude’s two previous churches.
Le Complexe du Musée laitier du Manitoba Offre aux visiteurs l’histoire locale et provinciale de l’industrie laitière de ses débuts aux temps modernes. The Saint-Claude Gardens were initiated by a group of volunteers, the ‘Friends of the Garden’. The gardens, which include flower beds, rose gardens, an arboretum and a prairie wild garden, stretch for a kilometre along the railway through the centre of the village.

The Gaol Museum and Tourist Office are on Highway 240 in the town centre. The original Gaol (or prison) was built in 1912, and was restored in 2006. The Gaol houses two cells, one complete with prisoner’s bunk and "biffy”. Displays explain the history of the gaol and indicate some of the incidents that happened and characters who ’inhabited’ the building. The building also houses the regional tourist office. The Gaol Museum celebrated its centennial in 2012.
Le Musée Geôle et le Bureau de Tourisme se trouvent le long de la route 240 au centre du village. La Geôle (ou prison) originale fut construite en 1912, et fut restaurée en 2006. Les visiteurs peuvent voir les deux cellules, dont une offre un banc de prisonnier et "biffy”. Des expositions expliquent l’histoire de la geôle et racontent quelques-uns des incidents qui se passèrent et des personnages qui ’habitèrent’ l’édifice. Le bureau de tourisme est attaché à ce bâtiment. Le Musée Geôle célébra son centenaire en 2012
The Cenotaph was erected in 1921, and is dedicated both to soldiers who have fallen during the First World War, and to those who have fallen since, in wars and peace-keeping throughout the world. It was renovated and rededicated in 2011.
Le Cénotaphe dédié aux soldats qui moururent pendant la Première Guerre mondiale, et à ceux qui tombèrent depuis, en guerre et comme gardiens de la paix partout au monde fut érigé en 1921. Ce monument fut rénové et redédié en 2011.
The Grotto is located on the property which formerly belonged to the Sisters of the Cross convent, now part of the first parish cemetery enclosure. It was erected as a gift of appreciation to Sister Marie-Adelard for her 25 years of religious life by her former students.

The Old Church Bell (1921) was taken from the town’s second church, and is featured on the existing church grounds. It was renovated and repainted in 2010.
Le Clocher de l’ancienne église (1911) fut descendu de la deuxième église du village, et se trouve maintenant sur le terrain de l’église actuelle. Il fut restauré en 2010
Geocaches - The village boasts two geocaches, both being bilingual all season multicaches. One is based around the Manitoba Dairy Museum Complex and the other covers most of the village. The St. Claude Tourism & Marketing Committee offer a day tour for coach trips to the village. This included a full morning guided tour of the Manitoba Dairy Museum Complex, lunch, a guided visit to the public gardens, a guided visit to the Gaol Museum & Tourist Office, a guided tour of the Church and a small snack at the end of the visit. Saint-Claude sports enthusiasts have many chances to practice their passion. Sports lovers will appreciate the arena and curling rink, both of which boast artificial ice.
Les fanatiques de sports ont beaucoup de chances pour pratiquer leur sport à Saint-Claude. Les sportifs apprécieront l’aréna et le curling, puisque les deux édifices offrent de la glace artificielle.
Mile 60 Park/Parc Mile 60
The old fairgrounds were taken over by the Sports and Leisure Committee and was completely renovated. The park now comprises of four baseball diamonds, four soccer pitches, a new camp ground with brand-new showers and bathroom facilities and a Pole Barn, which is the site for many family gatherings in the summer. The Park is also the site of the annual St. Claude Celebrations in June complete with ball tournaments, children’s activities and a Demolition Derby. Just beside the park are the arena (where hockey, skating and especially broomball are popular) and the Curling Club. In winter there is also a popular snowmobile club.
Le Comité de Sports & Loisirs prit charge de l’ancien terrain de la Société Agricole et l’a développé en Parc comprenant maintenant quatre terrains de baseball, quatre terrains de soccer, un nouveau camping facilités de douches et toilettes et un ‘Pole Barn’, site de maintes réunions familiales pendant l’été. Le Parc est aussi le site des Célébrations annuelles de Saint-Claude en juin avec ses tournois de balle, ses activités d’enfants et une course à démolition.
Juste à côté du Parc se trouvent l’Aréna (où le hockey, le patinage et surtout le ballon balai sont très populaires) et le Club de Curling. En hiver, il y a aussi le club de motoneige.

There are many opportunities to relax and enjoy oneself in Saint-Claude. To point out only some of them; there is the square dance club, the recreation centre (for winter walking) and quilting classes.
Four golf courses can be found only a few minutes from the village and Birch Ski Resort is only 20 minutes away.
