Haywood is a Local Urban District (L.U.D.) and has a committee that oversees their day to day operations, they meet on the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. at the Accueil d'Age D'or. The current population of Haywood is approximately 150. The current L.U.D. Committee is made up of the following:

The LUD of Haywood receives garbage pick-up on Tuesdays for businesses and on Thursdays for residential (Maximum of 3 bags. Bags to not exceed 40 pounds per bag), and recycling pick-up every other Thursday (See Recycling Page for schedule)
